It all started back in 2009, when director Carl Arnold saw an opportunity. He knew a thing or two about kitchen design and manufacture, and decided to make quality kitchens accessible for New Zealanders. Carl was ready to challenge the ways things were done, and even a global recession couldn’t stop him.
Well, it worked - today, we’re industry leaders, offering the best of kitchen design, processing, manufacturing and installation in the Auckland region. And the kitchen sink. The best thing? We make it all right here in New Zealand using the finest materials. We’re in it for the long haul, which means making sure the whole whanau is happy, and that includes you. This is a family business, after all.

Carl has been involved in the woodworking industry for 30 years. For many of those years he travelled regularly to Europe to study the latest manufacturing techniques and technology involved with kitchens and furniture. It was this experience and knowledge that helped him set up the very modern, efficient and competitive manufacturing facility that we have achieved at Kitchen Mania.

Greg is our General Manager. Greg gained his Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing and Management before jetting off on his OE to the UK. Greg applied his skills by working in the UK for some highly successful Sales and Marketing teams for 10 years. Greg has brought the experience and knowledge he gained back to New Zealand and has been working his magic at Kitchen Mania ever since.

Chris is a determined and motivated member of the team - with a great spirit. He is our team motivator both in work and at our events. Chris is a natural sportsman and has competed in both Ironman and world championship triathlon events. Chris applies this hard work and determination here at Kitchen Mania and gets a real buzz out of supporting our Sales, Pre-Production, Production and Finishing teams.
Laura Arnold

With a background in forensic science and a passion for design, Laura found her true calling in the family business, helping clients bring their dream kitchens to life. Now, as Sales Manager, she leads the design and sales team, focusing on best practices, training, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Laura thrives on creating seamless processes, fostering a strong team culture, and ensuring every client receives expert guidance from start to finish. Known for her attention to detail and commitment to quality, she works closely with her team to uphold the high standards that Kitchen Mania is known for.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature and staying active.
Simon Bradley

With over 30 years in restaurant operations, sales, and management, Simon has learned a thing or two about what makes a great kitchen.
Passion, integrity, and teamwork drive him and by focussing on relationships, consultation and effective design, Simon aims to create the perfect kitchen for each client—a space that not only rewards but enhances their lifestyle.
Having raised his family in West Auckland for over 18 years, he understands that the kitchen is the heart of the home—a space where life happens everyday.
When he’s not helping clients create their dream kitchens, he enjoys exploring new travel destinations, checking out the latest cars, or working in his garden, growing fruit and veggies for his own kitchen.

Anna loves getting to know her clients and helping them create kitchens that are as stylish as they are functional. She’s all about making the design process fun, stress-free, and tailored to each person’s needs!
Anna thrives on building strong relationships with her customers, always ensuring they feel cared for every step of the way. Whether she’s assisting with design choices or offering guidance, Anna’s upbeat attitude and attention to detail are what make her stand out.
When she’s not helping clients, Anna loves to get creative in the kitchen, whipping up delicious meals, baking sweet treats, and exploring new crafts. She’s also a fan of swimming, walking, and enjoying quality time with her husband, David, and their kids, Ryan and Chloe. Jessica Harding
Sales & Design Specialist Team Leader - Milford Showroom
Jess has a degree in Industrial Design and through this has found her passion for creating memorable experiences for people through design. Jess says "the kitchen is my favourite room in the house, I'm a passionate cook and baker and I'm always trying to come up with new recipes and flavour combos, so kitchen design makes sense as I love creating a space for people to enjoy making food." In her spare time you'll find her in the ocean or exploring new bush walks. With over 200 hours of yoga teacher training, and qualified in reiki you'll find Jess always diving deeper into yoga, meditation and spiritual practices.

Imogen recently joined Kitchen Mania and is a passionate addition to the Sales and Design Team.
Having graduated university with a degree in both residential and commercial design, Imogen specialises in the use of colour and texture in her designs and has a passion for art and architecture which led her to study interior design.
Imogen's favourite part of design is helping my clients create something that is both beautiful and functional. Seeing how design can change someone's life is very fulfilling.
In her free time you will always find her cooking for my friends and family or relaxing near the water.
Cherry Bi

Cherry has five years of experience in the kitchen design industry and has been with Kitchen Mania for a year now.
After graduating from Auckland University with an Architectural degree in 2017, she started her journey in kitchen design. Cherry also has a passion for fine art, especially oil painting and sculpture, she also studied jewellery design at the Gemmological Institute of America in the year after university. She loves her job being a kitchen designer and is always excited to create peoples’ dream kitchen!

Lauren first joined the Kitchen Mania family in 2010 as part of the Sales & Design Team. In May 2024, she returned to bring her expertise to the Pre-Production team, where she plays a key role in ensuring a seamless transition from design to installation.
With a diploma in Interior Design and nearly two decades of experience in the design and construction industry, Lauren thrives on precision and technical detail. As a valued member of our technical team, she is passionate about creating clear, easy-to-read drawings that help streamline the installation process, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her fiancé, going for scenic walks, listening to music, and unwinding by the water or in her garden.
