It all started back in 2009, when director Carl Arnold saw an opportunity. He knew a thing or two about kitchen design and manufacture, and decided to make quality kitchens accessible for New Zealanders. Carl was ready to challenge the ways things were done, and even a global recession couldn’t stop him.
Well, it worked - today, we’re industry leaders, offering the best of kitchen design, processing, manufacturing and installation in the Auckland region. And the kitchen sink. The best thing? We make it all right here in New Zealand using the finest materials. We’re in it for the long haul, which means making sure the whole whanau is happy, and that includes you. This is a family business, after all.

Carl has been involved in the woodworking industry for 30 years. For many of those years he travelled regularly to Europe to study the latest manufacturing techniques and technology involved with kitchens and furniture. It was this experience and knowledge that helped him set up the very modern, efficient and competitive manufacturing facility that we have achieved at Kitchen Mania.
Greg Arnold
General Manager
Greg is our General Manager. Greg gained his Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing and Management before jetting off on his OE to the UK. Greg applied his skills by working in the UK for some highly successful Sales and Marketing teams for 10 years. Greg has brought the experience and knowledge he gained back to New Zealand and has been working his magic at Kitchen Mania ever since.
Chris Arnold
Operations Manager
Chris is a determined and motivated member of the team - with a great spirit. He is our team motivator both in work and at our events. Chris is a natural sportsman and has competed in both Ironman and world championship triathlon events. Chris applies this hard work and determination here at Kitchen Mania and gets a real buzz out of supporting our Sales, Pre-Production, Production and Finishing teams.
Dominic Hoeft
Commercial Manager
Dom is responsible for the Commercial Division at Kitchen Mania and he loves engaging with his clients and working hard to achieve a favourable solution for every project. Dom’s experience in kitchen design, together with his broad range of skills gained in previous building industry and property roles, contribute to his ability to be able to see the big picture and deliver on the finer details at the same time. In his spare time, you’ll find Dom on the footy pitch, golf course or kicking a ball around with his kids.
Laura Arnold
Sales and Design Specialist - Mt Wellington Showroom
Technically our longest serving member of staff, Laura started at Kitchen Mania in her university holidays when we opened in 2009, before graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Forensic Science in 2011. She worked for ESR in the Crime Scene team for 4 years before starting her family. Three children later she returned to the family business where has looked after our rebranding, Marketing and communications. Laura now gets to unleash her creative flair as a member of our Sales and Design team. Laura loves working with clients to transform their space and loves seeing the difference her designs make to her customer's lives.
In her spare time she loves getting out and about exploring with her husband Chris and their kiddies Oscar, Ruby and Archie, and fur baby Oakley.

Cleo is a recent member of the Kitchen Mania team. Prior to Kitchen Mania, Cleo was involved in the world of Kitchen makeovers and is super excited to be able to design new kitchens from scratch.
Cleo is a qualified Interior Designer and enjoys exploring colour and textures which is why in her spare time you'll find her upholstering furniture, to her husband's dismay with the garage constantly cluttered with the next project.
Cleo looks forward to helping you achieve your kitchen dreams, no matter how big or small.
Jessica Harding
Sales and Design Specialist - Milford Showroom
Jess has a degree in Industrial Design and through this has found her passion for creating memorable experiences for people through design. Jess says "the kitchen is my favourite room in the house, I'm a passionate cook and baker and I'm always trying to come up with new recipes and flavour combos, so kitchen design makes sense as I love creating a space for people to enjoy making food." In her spare time you'll find her in the ocean or exploring new bush walks. With over 200 hours of yoga teacher training, and qualified in reiki you'll find Jess always diving deeper into yoga, meditation and spiritual practices.

Imogen recently joined Kitchen Mania and is a passionate addition to the Sales and Design Team.
Having graduated university with a degree in both residential and commercial design, Imogen specialises in the use of colour and texture in her designs and has a passion for art and architecture which led her to study interior design.
Imogen's favourite part of design is helping my clients create something that is both beautiful and functional. Seeing how design can change someone's life is very fulfilling.
In her free time you will always find her cooking for my friends and family or relaxing near the water.
Cherry Bi

Cherry has five years of experience in the kitchen design industry and has been with Kitchen Mania for a year now.
After graduating from Auckland University with an Architectural degree in 2017, she started her journey in kitchen design. Cherry also has a passion for fine art, especially oil painting and sculpture, she also studied jewellery design at the Gemmological Institute of America in the year after university. She loves her job being a kitchen designer and is always excited to create peoples’ dream kitchen!

Megan studied spatial design and loves working with kitchens. She worked in the kitchen industry in London before heading home to New Zealand in 2020. She loves colour and creating spaces that make people happy. In her free time you'll find Megan playing around in 3D software, winning board games or going for a hike. "I love Kitchen Mania because the people are brilliant, both the colleagues and the customers. Every day comes with challenges and rewards."

Charlotte is a qualified Interior Designer who also studied architecture. She has always been passionate about spatial design and the arts. She loves working with her clients to provide an enjoyable experience where their dreams can become a reality. “The most satisfying thing is knowing I made a real difference in people’s lives”.
In her spare time, you will find her doing crazy long bike rides, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.

Oscar has over 8 years experience in architectural design. He loves working closely with his customers and colleagues to achieve a great kitchen design that works perfectly in the home. In his spare time, Oscar loves playing basketball with friends and getting outside to go hiking and enjoy nature. "Working at Kitchen Mania is fantastic because it feels like a real family team. I can use my experience to help our customers get the best result with their kitchen renovation."

Cathy is the life and soul of Kitchen Mania and with a 20 year background in primary school teaching and looking after the administration and accounts for Carl, there is no doubt the growing team is a well oiled machine. We also love seeing Carl and Cathy's dog Fergus in the office too!

Like all superstar administrators, Chrissy is fast becoming the backbone of the awesome Kitchen Mania team having joined the company in 2023. Chrissy provides key support and expertise ensuring the office runs like clockwork.
Chrissy's role is diverse and reaches across the entire company where she takes great delight in being an essential part of the business and the ever changing kitchen industry.
